I hope you are enjoying your day of independence! We are getting ready to take the kids to the park to bounce in bouncy houses, get their faces painted, eat food off trucks, and generally ruin them for normal trips to the park here after.
They don't know that night time fireworks exist, since they start at 10:00, waaaaay past their bedtimes, and we haven't been brave enough to experiment with keeping them up that long before.
Mmmm, no thanks. But it's promising to be a great day!
