Moving on up!

Monday night there was a great shifting in the force. Did you feel it too?
Well, we had kids moving up in life and status, right and left over here.
Greta moved into a twin sized bed (She really was starting to look a little comical in the tiny toddler one.) Which meant that Oliver got to move out of his crib, and into the newly vacated toddler.
It was kind of like an episode of Oprah. "YOU get a bed, and YOU get a bed, and YOU get a bed!
Everyone gets a bed, and not a crib in sight.
Greta especially, was over the moon.
We wanted to keep the whole thing a surprise for her and were hiding boxes, pillows, and bedding from her all week. It was like a scene from an old "Who done it" as I moved just delivered boxes into the garage, just in the nick of time.
Then Monday night she went over to a friends house so we could set the whole thing up.
Her response to the great unveiling was great. At first it was a simple "What?" which has led into a crescendo of excitement thats lasted all week, until yesterday she was screaming "This is amaziiiiiing!" in the car.
A lot has changed in that little room of hers. Remember this? It was not that long ago that this little corner held her in a dilapidated crib, then a toddler bed, and now this.
Enter old adage: Where has the time gone?
